  Grips need to be replaced when they wear out. If you do not change them the club could slip in your hand and effect your swing.   Shafts are the most important part of the golf club. Your golf swing is constantly changing so you may need to change your shafts to keep up with the changes.   Loft and lie adjustments are available also. Lie angle is extremely important as it effects your ability to hit straight shots. Every 1 degree your lie angle is off results in shots being 5 - 8 yards offline at 150 yards. Lofts need to be 4 degrees between clubs so that you have consistent yardages thru your set.
